social pane in crm 2013

  Hello, what are your thoughts on CRM 2013? Do you find it useful or do you find that it is more of a waste of space? Do you leave it displayed by default or you tend to hide/remove it to reclaim screen real estate? Does hiding/removing the pane create a big effort to reorder the other UI controls? Do you find that clients tend to like or dislike the social pane?
