Unable to run a 'remote windows debugger' RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everybody,

I have written a simple hello world program in c++ on visual 2013. I am unable to run the program on by using the remote windows debugger. This is a real pain for me as it is far more efficient to use the in-house command line.

Thank you for any responce, it's very much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Oliver Kenny.

  • Hi Oliver Kenny,

Testing with Visual Studio Test Manager (MTM)forum is to discuss issues related to Microsoft Test Manager. Your issue is about debugging, so it is out of support range of this forum.

If ‘windows debugger’ means WinDbg: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/dn745912(v=vs.85).aspx , I recommend consulting on Windows Desktop Debugging forum: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windbg/threads for better support.

If I misunderstood you, please feel free to let me know.

    Thanks,
