  • Guys

As you can see below, I have a message 'unknown40' that has appeared in the last couple of days, I have also lost the 'whats new' button from the ribbon at the top.

I have a number of solutions in my instance: -

    -  Magnetism connector for Xero (last install and the issues started to happen when this was configured, is this a coincidence

    - MyTAX plugin for VAT

I am also seeing the following error in certain forms related to the plugins

I am hoping that the issues can be resolved by the companies who supplied the plug ins but Dynamics is a difficult beast to manage!

I hope someone can advise Me

  • Hi,

I don't think your screenshots have been uploaded. By 'Unknown40' are you talking about a sub-area in your sitemap (the grouping in the navigation bar of tiles - or in the Outlook Client; part of the tree navigation structure)?

If so, I'd advise you use the sitemap editor available in Tanguy Touzard's xrmtoolbox http://xrmtoolbox.codeplex.com/ to fix/re-name the grouping. This tool also has the ability to re-set the sitemap to the default CRM2013 layout(you'd need to re-import your add-on solutions afterwards). I can't comment on the Magnetism or MyTax solutions but if you are sure the errors are caused by those products, contact their purveyors assuming you have an agreement in place with respect to support. If you have a crm partner, they should be able to confirm the error source and progress a resolution, either themselves, via the 3rd party, or via their Microsoft support plan.

  • Rob,

That is really useful thanks for that, I will take a look, I am speaking to the vendors, I think I am nervous as MS Dynamics does seem a lot more obtuse when things do not work properly.

Magnetism have already come back to me, credit to those guys!

    Thanks Rob
