Purchased License key errors RRS feed

  • Question

  • Several weeks ago my pc crashed. So I decided to do a fresh install and was greeted with an error after inserting my license key.  funny thing is that the license key worked before [since Windows 7 Ultimate came out].  The MS helpdesk claims that the key has been installed on more than one machine.  Yes it has my pc, my pc has crashed 2 twice and 2 other times it was running sso slow I did another fresh install.  Each time the license key worked until NOW.

MS Support would reactivate the or give me a replacement key.  I was instructed to go out and buy a new key.  After using my laptop for over a month, I decide to purchase a new license key from the local computer shop.

I got the same results windows 7 ultimate would not accept the key.  Error message 0x34000805  keep coming up.  I also got the same MS support statement, the key has been installed on another machine more than 3 times.  Back to computer shop and was given a new license key....... a repeat of the previous issue.

Now I am on my 7 attempt to get my PC up and running.

I have Windows 10; but the time is not right for me to install it and use it...    he.lp

  • To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool

(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )

     Once saved, run the tool.

Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.

To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.x

      - in your own thread, please

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

  • FYI: No one is permitted to sell standalone Windows 7 product keys.  Those that do are likely selling stolen/pirated/counterfeit product keys. A genuine Windows 7 license comes in a sealed package that includes the Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity, printed licensing documentation, and a holographic Windows 7 installation DVD.  Examples
