Project Server 2010 PWA site settings permissions RRS feed

  • Question

  • ok I am going mad I should know the answer to this one -but its been a while since working with 2010!

I do not want any other users (other than admin group) to be able to see any of the drop down menu's when clicking on "PWA SIte Actions" and second question is it possible to set permissions so they cannot even see "site actions"

    help please :)

p.s and yes all my permissions are nicely managed via "server settings" and the site template - all working fine - this is a pwa issue only

  • Hi Nikki, See a blog post I wrote a while back that details what global permissions give access to site actions menu items: http://pwmather.wordpress.com/2012/05/31/projectserver-2010-global-permissions-access-to-pwa-site-actions-menu-items-ps2010-sp2010-msproject/ It is not possible to remove the site actions menu with out of the box functionality / config. You would have to code this to do the security trimming. Paul
