Office from Launch event won't validate RRS feed

  • Question

  • I initially installed Office 2007 on a pc that had the beta2 of Vista, no troubles. This week at a quartly partner breifing I won Vista Business. I installed Vista using the New install option, no problem.

Install Office 2007 from the launch event using the key provided there and activation pops up, I figure no problem, tried activating over the internet, no dice, tried Phone support and as best as I could understand the voice on the other end she was telling me to reinstall. What good will that do on an new install?

  • Brand new install of vista machine Pentium 4 2.6 gig hz, 2.3 gig ram, 64 mb vram(very clean machine) I try and install the office 2007 from the launch 2007 resource kit  claims that the signature file is no good MICROSOFT vista does not recognise MICROSOFT office 2007. Tried several attempts, numerous downloads. The cd is sending us to a the trial version software site with its own temp product key and at this point we are unable to give it the product key that is given inside the resource kit cd.
