Question

Hi,
Would like to know if WHS team is looking into making the Home server a firewall or caching server?

No. WHS is not meant to be either.
It may be possible to do that on the underlying Server 2008 R2 OS, but it's not supported.

Correct, WHS does not and won’t for Vail include ISA/TMG, which is the technology you seek. You can put this on a secondary server in your home and use it as your router, if you know how to setup the ports. If you do go down this route, this whitepaper will probably make sure you’re on the right path - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd772577%28WS.10%29.aspxSeanThis post is "AS IS" and confers no rights."Evaders99" wrote in message news:0ce9efd4-4eea-4a3c-8975-5895b1368338...
