Unable to use Intel Fortran in VS2012

    Question

  • Hello,

I am using Intel Parallel Studio XE2015 and I have insalled VS2012 Professional. I am not able to open .vfproj files. following the troubleshooting fortran integration issues with visual studio article I dont see Intel Visual Fortran among the installed Product. I have tried to re-install VS2012 and I still get the same error. Also there is no Intel Fortran folder available within the installation folder. Any heads up on how can it be fixed.

I was using VS2015 with Intel Parallel Studio XE 2015 previously and the .vfproj was fine. But now I have a customer request to use VS2012 and hence I face the above problem.

    Thanks in Advance

    Regards,

    Priya :)

  • hai,

Thank you for your support. I have tried the above. Thats when I realised that Intel fortran is not among the installed programs in Visual studio. And what can be done about it is my querry actually.

  • hai,

My question is regarding Intel not been installed with the Visual Studio 2012. If I run the .exe setup, Visual studio doesnt recognize that Intel fortran has been installed. Does Intel answer for the same ?

    Regards,

    Priya
