MSCRM 4.0 conflict with ipv6? RRS feed

    Hi , 

    I have a crm server which is working fine before. It is using dedicated service account for MSCRM. Recently , the server has been enabled ipv6. Since then when I access CRM server with servername (eg http://server1/contoso ) , I got unauthorized access. But if I use ipaddress (eg http://192.168.1.1/contoso) I can access it. The SSRS server also got access denied error. SSRS server is hosted on separate box and installed SRS Connector. 

    Please kindly help if you have experienced before. Thanks in advance.

    Hi

    I am not sure if MSCRM 4.0 has support for IPV6 yet.

    I was searching online and found this article.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950100

    and other independent user based articles say same, that IPV6 is not in support yet. 

    So, everyone disabled ipv6 and got crm up and running

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. MSCRM 4.0 doesn't support IPV6 yet. But I have read that if IPV4 is still enabled, it should be fine.

    Yes, its mentioned in the link i provided.

    It should be either IPV4 or ( IPV4 enabled plus IPV6 disabled).
