"Reset" CRM 4.0 database RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I would like to "reset" a CRM 4.0 database so it is back in its clean, vanilla state (no data, no customisations).

    I'd like to do this without having to completely uninstall CRM and then re-install.

    Does anyone know if this is possible ?

    I have tried the "Repair" option in the Add/Remove Programs-->Microsoft Dynamics CRM Server, but this leaves the database in its current state.

  • There isn't a good way to do this.  Assuming you don't have a backup of the datbase from before you started working, the best option may be to delete the org and the create a new one.

  • Ok, thanks Matt.

    I've deleted and re-created the organisation, as you suggested, and this has worked (relatively painlessly, too !)
