  • Hi,

maybe you want to have a look at http://asp.net - microsoft created a nice webpage with tutorials and a lot of community stuff there. You can also quickly download all required stuff to simply start development.

In there you find also Forums, where people can give you much more help on ASP.Net. (But please search first. I am quite sure, that there are hundreds of threads already covering tutorials and introductions.)

And of course: Google / Bing are your friends. Just search for Asp.Net introduction or Asp.Net tutorial and you will find a lot of links to these pages. (Maybe you want to add a language to the search, e.g. C# or vb.net.)

And last but not least: There are a lot of books available. Maybe you want to consider
http://www.amazon.com/Beginning-ASP-NET-VB-Wrox-Programmer/dp/0470502215/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1293256519&sr=8-6 (I normaly check the Step by Step books from MS Press first, but people on Amazon complain about that book. So maybe you check some others instead ...)

Just search on ASP.Net on Amazon and have a closer look if you want to read a book.

    With kind regards,

    Konrad

  • Adding to what Konrad said, and since you are asking at the Training and Certification forum, there are several training courses from Microsoft that deal with asp.net. These are some that come to mind:

    6463A: Visual Studio 2008: ASP.NET 3.5
2311A: Advanced Web Application Development using Microsoft ASP.NET
2366A: Developing High Performance and Scalable Web Applications using ASP.NET 1.1
52310B: Developing Microsoft ASP.NET Web Applications Using Visual Studio .NET
