Not getting traffic from MSN search RRS feed

  • Question

  •

I have been publishing my blog http://lovelybabes.blogspot.com almost from a year and I am also having the problem of not getting any traffic from MSN search. But it appears fairly on Google and Yahoo search. Since I started blogging I have not got a single traffic from MSN search results. However from google and Yahoo I get in average more than 150 viewers. What's the problem with my blog? I have checked and found that not a single pages are blocked in webmasters tools.

  • I think it's all in the numbers.  Best case Live is pulling 7-10% of all searches but whether or not their typical customer is likely to be in your niche is unknown.  We've gone from 0 to 850 pages indexed recently and although we are in the top 5 in many we've checked the volume is still at best 1/40th of Google.  That may change over time but I'm just not sure there is a ton of traffic out there for many segments.

MSN also seems to give no joy for business blogs. That tends to limit some of the opportunity to build quality backlinks but we may also just be in flux as our promotional items site is pretty new in terms of SERPs.

I have the same problem with 15 sites. Some score page 1 top 5 in google and can not be found in live. I have sites with 600 pages to 6000 pages and none of them set indexed with or without site maps. In my larger sites like

www.arizonaautohomelifeinsuranse.com I have 10 php index pages  but they are never crawled. I have page 1 ranking in msm with www.dischargedyesterday.com with several search terms. www.usedcarsdayton.com if you type in used cars dayton is page 1 on info.com but has only 1 page indexed by live. I totally don't understand any of it. How to be first pull

in the #1 traffic search engine and ranked nowhere in this one. Anyone help with this problem
