CRM 4.0 Outlook client C++ Runtime error RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I'm trying to install CRM 4.0 Outlook Client, i'm getting the following error: "The installation of the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime failed."

    Any idea what could be the reason?

  • I found the solution.

    The installation files couldn't be accessed from the installation DVD so i copied them on the laptop and ran the installation again; it went perfectly Smile

  • i also ran into this and found that, after the installer finished installing dotnet3, i simply clicked install a second time and the install was successful

    your milage may vary
