    Hi, I;ve recently changed back from vista to windows xp home and its been properly activated well i thought anyway. The last week its had a box popping up saying would you like to activate windows now and i press yes but then it says its already been activated press ok to exit. But now the 7 days are up. It says to log in you have to activate account press yes or no. When you press yes it says you already have activated your windows press "ok" then it gos back to the log in screen. When you press no it gos back to the log in screen. So i cant log in! Wont work in safe mode either. PLEASE i need suggestions and answers?? I have exams that need to be studyed for! Cheers Morro

    Please try to active via telephone.  Contact a Microsoft customer service representative to activate Windows by phone, follow these steps:

     

    1. Click “Start”, point to” All Programs”, point to “Accessories”, point to” System Tools”, and then click “Activate Windows”.

    Or, click the Windows Activation icon in the notification area.


    2. Click Yes, I want to telephone a customer service representative to active Windows now.


    3. Click “Read the Windows Product Activation Privacy Statement”, click “Back”, and then click “Next”

    .
    4. Follow the steps in the Activate Windows by phone dialog box and then click “Next”.

    Note:  The number appears now and differs based on the location that you select.


    5. Once activation is completed and you receive the following message, click “OK”.
    You have successfully activated your copy of Windows.

    If you are done with the activation, kindly proceed in validating the copy of your software by going to http://www.microsoft.com/genuine Click “Validate Windows” button.
