Mixed 32/64-Bit Win7 Network, Users have to delete registry keys and run CRM setup again when the change Windows Version RRS feed

  • All Windows 7 Pro on a Server 2012 Essentials domain with roaming profiles.
    Profiles all work fine except for the occasional error with shortcuts pointing to the the wrong program files folder.

    Whenever a user logs out of 32 bit workstation and into a 64 bit one, they have to delete two CRM keys from the registry and run the setup wizard again for their Outlook plugin to work. If they don't they get an unhelpful .NET framework error and Outlook quits as soon as they click on any CRM folder.

    This is a colossal PITA.

    Using Outlook 365 for email with Outlook 2013 and the 2011 CRM Dynamics plugin.

    I've tried all kinds of manual edits on the reg keys in question but nothing works. At my wits end! Please help.
