CRM Email Router Question?

1 - CRM Router only for Exchange Specific ? can i install it for other mail servers like i have mdeamon in my premises. ?

2 - Email Router says Visual C++ runtime not installed is it available somewhere so that i can downlaod and install?

Hi Sheraz, configuring the CRM E-mail Router can be tricky. The Implementation Guide and specific documentation for the E-mail Router is definitely worth reading. The IG Installation document confirms that the CRM 4.0 E-mail Router can be configured to work with SMTP and POP3 servers (page 10). Exchange is not required for all scenarios.

Visual C++ runtime should be automatically downloaded and installed by the server. Here's how to install CRM components on a server without internet access.
