cant restore backup data onto new pc

Can anyone help. I used to have a windows xp pc and have just purchased a new windows 7 pc. I have loaded ms money 2004 program onto the new pc with no problems. I can not load the backup data onto the new pc. each time i try and restore the data ms money is returning an error message saying that "ms money can not find c:/documents/money even when i try and browse manually to the location to add the back up it then says that the file already exists and do i want to overwrite it, i say yes and then again the same error occurs. I have tried everything i can think off but i just can not get the back up data onto the new pc. any help please or any way i can get this sorted. thanks

When you have tried to browse to a new location, where have you been selecting? I'd suggest c:\users\[your name]\documents. Or just try restoring it to your desktop for now. You are coming from XP. Lots of the old "standard" locations are different places now.
