    Keep getting this on boot.  Hard drive replaced with new.  Unable to use rescue or install disks.

    IBM t42 40 Gig HD, 1Gb RAM, was running WinXP SP2,  Any help here?

  • What you have is an access violation BSOD error


    - Check your RAM more often this cause by a bad or corrupted IO device driver

    - Or a bad software ( corrupted )


    Go to safe mode with networking or just plain safe mode ( if its still possible )

    > after you press the power button to turn on the system proceed with tapping the F8 and F5 key

    > it will bring you to Windows Advance Option

    > Choose the safe mode prescribed

    > now once you  got in to windows go to start>run type: compmgmt.msc go to the device section and check for

       drivers and go to msconfig choose selective startup and click on apply and ok ( proceed with computer restart )


    On worst case scenario please call you Product Manufacturer for assistance if you are still in warranty then if not just an option Windows Full Support can assist you to identify what is causing it 1800 936 5700
