Access Images in Live Writer Plugin prior to publish

  Is there a way to access the images prior to publish in a Live Writer plugin?  I would like to write a plugin that, prior to publish, iterates over the images, uploads them to Azure Blob Storage and replaces the paths. 

  I have all of the code to parse HTML, reference all images and upload to blob storage.
