  • Vista Checks for Certificate Revocation by default and XP does not

You may have some problems with your revocation list

Can you disable the revocation check via settings in Internet Explorer and restart the MOC and try again

  • Thank you very much! That was the problem!

  • Just to clarify, that wasn't really a 'resolution' but a test to see if your address book was correctly published.  It appears it was, but you may want to weigh the benefit (suppressing OC error) versus the the fact that IE will no longer perform those certificate revocation checks.

  • I agree, you should really look at the Certificate's  "CRL Distribution Points" on the certificate of your Front-End server and verify that you can correctly download them, maybe the website requires authentication or does not exist anymore

It may be better to generate a new Certificate with working CRLs

  • I know. The Problem was that in the Certificate the CRL was http: but my Certificate Server was listening to https only. So i changed IIS to listen to both protocols.

But still thanks for poiting me in the right direction.
