Two websites under two different application pools running as parent child RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have two websites one is main website "secure.example.com"  running under .net 2.0 application pool
and we have another child website "secure.example.com/SL" running under .net 4.0 application pool

Can that be a problem where we have .net 4.0 application running inside .net 2.0 application on IIS?
Is .net 4.0 application now limited to a number of concurrent requests because it's running under it's parent .net 2.0?

    Thank you
