Sharepoint 2013 On Premise Issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi expert,

Good day. I am new to the sharepoint. Currently I have an existing sharepoint farm with 2 WFE (WFE1 & WFE2), 1 App, and 1 SQL Servers, using Network Load Balancing feature with 1 WFE as primary role, another as backup role.

My sharepoint site is tested all working so far.

Besides, I have setup my sharepoint site with https secure connection as well, and tested workable.

Currently, I am facing 2 issues:

    1) One of my WFE server, unable to view excel file in browser suddenly. Please refer to the link https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/138458/sharepoint-2013-on-premise-wfe1-unable-to-view-exc.html

As per the community expert advise, he advised me to check on my load balancing matter . However, once a time I do have make the DNS pointing for my sharepoint directly to that problematic WFE, instead of my NLB Cluster IP. It is still same issue. Therefore, I dont think this issue is related to my NLB load balancer.

This issue has been happened since several months ago, until now I am still have no idea on how to fix this. Can you advise on how to fix this?

    2) The second issue, I have the same issue as what been stated from the link https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/ee4ba76d-5eac-47ea-b6a0-57ff2ee2ca36/event-id-6482-a-call-to-sspi-failed-see-inner-exception-the-target-principal-name-is-incorrect?forum=sharepointgeneral

I do had checked in my SQL Server, where my service account is already mapped and had full access into the searchservice database. Besides, i am also had set the spn into my service account in my AD with "HTTP/XXX", where XXX is the FQDN of my sharepoint CA server, IISRESET. However, i am still getting the same error log from time to time.

I am appreciate and grateful to the expert who can solve my issue.

    Thank you.
