Windows Vista keeps running Updates then after completing update I have 5 Mins before it updates again

My computer ran a Windows Vista update which took hours to complete. After the updated completed it restarted the computer and then about 5 minutes it updated again which took a couple hours again. And after completeing the update it again restarted and again i only had about 5 minutes and it again started the update again...Please Help! I think it must have failed to install the update. I think you must disable automatic update through the security section in Control Panel
By the way - I think you have posted this in the wrong forum. Is this the WGA Update?
