how many Microsoft supported forums are there?

  As a newbie who wants to learn more about Microsoft services and software, I feel Microsoft forums are disorganised and confusing. There is this forum obviously, then there's the forum in TechNet social, then there's Microsoft Answers for consumers, then there is forums off individual Microsoft product website.

  Why can't Microsoft just organise one forum site for everyone, one login. This makes find answers and asking questions so much easier. 

  And by the way, how many Microsoft forum are there actually?
