  • The exams listed below relate to web development however you're going about things the wrong way.  Certifications exist to test your knowledge of a technology, not to train you.

You will need around 2yrs of hands-on-experience (by hands on I mean working with the product daily in a work environment, not studying) to pass some of these exams.

MCTS prerequisite: TS: Web Applications Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4 - Exam 70-515

MCTS prerequisite: TS: Windows Communication Foundation Development with Microsoft .NET Framework 4 - Exam 70-513

MCTS prerequisite: TS: Accessing Data with Microsoft .NET Framework 4 - Exam 70-516

MCPD requirement: PRO: Designing and Developing Web Applications Using Microsoft .NET Framework 4 - Exam 70-519

  • Here is a list of MCPD certifications available - you can choose your track if you would like to go for win development, web or azure, sharepoint, win phone etc. There is also a list of exams required for every certification.

But prior to taking exam you should concentrate on getting familiar with those technologies. There are classes available from Microsoft like

    http://www.microsoft.com/learning/en/us/Course.aspx?ID=10267A&Locale=en-us

Also you can get some prepKits on Amazon for your exams you will select like http://www.amazon.com/MCTS-Self-Paced-Training-Exam-70-515/dp/0735627401/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1328860596&sr=8-1
