htm attachments on all emails, how to get rid of?

  hi, on every email i receive, i have an htm attachment with a set of numbers before it, ex?  49302-584.htm, (689 KB)

    i have IE 7, and have tried everything they tell me to do.  this has been going on for two months, i need to resolve this issue, thanks if you can help.  things i have done, cleaned out temp files, unchecked plain text, etc.
