Option to follow a user is missing RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We've recently upgraded from CRM 2011 to 2013. The option to follow a user is not given when I follow the steps below.

    I'm thinking something needs enabled somewhere but I can't figure out where, Google didn't help on this occasion

    1 On your dashboard, click or tap Advanced Find.
    2 In the Look for drop-down list, click or tap Users.
    3 In the Show group, click or tap Results.
    4 Click or tap the person's name.
    5 Click or tap the More Command (More commands icon).
    6 Click or tap Follow or Unfollow.

  • Hi there,

    I am seeing the same problem after an upgrade from 2011 Dynamics to 2013 Dynamics.  In this case, my account is a System Admin account, which by definition has all access rights to be able to follow and unfollow entities, including users, accounts, leads, etc.

    Any suggestions as to what is missing that is preventing activity feeds from being followed?
