richtextbox format RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, i am having a problem dealing with Arabic in my program. I am designing a translator, someone told me there is a way a richtextbox can be formatted to convert words from one culture to another. forexample if you type a word like "HULLO" in it, you can format it(convert) and get its meaning in another language but he did not tell me how to do it. Can anyone tell me how to do it as this will save me from getting all arabic words in the database.
    thanks.

  • Hi Rodinho,

you can translate text between languages using the Microsoft Translator API. See http://api.microsofttranslator.com for a list of the options. If you are writing in C# or in C++, I recommend looking at the SOAP interface for your calls to Translator.
