How To Tell If PP2 Installed RRS feed

  • Question

  • I read Microsoft does not update EULA with PP2.  How can I tell if it was installed.  Nothing looks different and update says there are no updates.

    Thanks

If you have a new share called Recorded TV on your server, then PP2 was installed (plus the component numbers will be 6.0.2030.0 in the Console, not to mention it will say Windows Home Server with Power Pack 2 ;).

  • I must have a problem -  PP2 is not installed and updates say i am up to date.  Any suggestions how to remedy this?

What are the component numbers shown in the Console (Settings button, Resources tab)?

  • Please uninstall the beta of Power Pack 1, then run updates through the console until your server reports no further updates to install.
I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
