Retake cost is normally the same as the initial exam you failed. Did you use any promotional code when signing up for first exam?
Hopefully Microsoft will bring back Second Shot which gives a free chance if you fail first exam.

Hi fifteenyrs.
As Puckis said, it is usually the same price unless you entered a promo code when you scheduled an exam the first time. This way, I believe, you can get a 20% discount.
Also, when there is a Second Shot, you can use it and schedule an exam for free if you fail the first time. But second shot is not always available. For this year, it was available until July. Maybe from January they will again make it available, maybe not...

Hi
Time to time for listed exams Microsoft publishes Free retake option, in that scenario if you failed in the first exam you can retake the exam free of the cost, but remember to follow the process to get the code to register for the exam which you will get from the Microsoft and reuse it for the second attempt free of cost.
If there is no offers then you need to pay the entire exam fee to retake the exam.
Also please note that you need to review all the offers at the time of registeration to aware about any latest offers.
Cheers, Senthilraj
