Low volume on outbound calls RRS feed

  • When calling users from Communicator 2007 using a headset or microphone usb or otherwise people on the remote end of a call through a media gateway to a phone on the PSTN say that they can barely hear the call. We have increased the setting on the microphone to maximum but it isn't enough. Is there someplace else in the system either OCS or the gateway to increase this volume?

  • I found out that the AudioCodes Media Gateway MP118 FXO has a setting that allows a user to adjust the inbound and outbound volume. Adjusted this and now everyone we call says the volume level is just fine.

    I'm having the same issue.

    Could you list the settings you changed in the Audiocodes? It's kind of hard finding anything in the MP's webinterface.
