HTTP/1.1 307 Temporary Redirect

    Question

  • I dont know if this is correct forum, but did't found any for IIS that I think this belongs to, however I develop in VS.

    My problem are that I got a HTTP/1.1 307 Temporary Redirect when a acces my REST service and some other 3 part API dont accept that.

    In the Web.config I have a rewrite rule to make the URL more "common"

        <rewrite>
          <rules>
            <rule name="redir">
              <match url="^([_0-9a-z-]+)/([_0-9a-z-]+)/([_0-9a-z-]+)"/>
              <conditions logicalGrouping="MatchAll" trackAllCaptures="false"/>
              <action type="Rewrite" url="svc_{R:1}_{R:2}.svc/{R:3}"/>
            </rule>
          </rules>
        </rewrite>

    This rule able to type the url like https://dev.infoping.se/REST2/ask/Q/json/

    instead of real one https://dev.infoping.se/REST2/svc_ask_Q.svc/json/

    If a just do a POST to https://dev.infoping.se/REST2/ask/Q/json/ without a query everything are fine

    but if add query like https://dev.infoping.se/REST2/ask/Q/json/?function=group_get

    I got the HTTP/1.1 307 Temporary Redirect

    Any suggestions how to get rid the Temporary Redirect when I add the querystring ?

    If it is related to the IIS, you could post this issue to the IIS forum here:

    https://forums.iis.net/

    If it is related to the web development, the asp.net forum would be better:

    http://forums.asp.net
