  • HELLO-  I USED THE LIVECARE TO SCAN HARMFUL VIRUSES ON MY LAPTOP.  UPON COMPLETION OF THE SCAN...IT SHOWED OVER 179 CONCERNS AND 22 SERIOUS ONES.  THE SYSTEM RESTARTED AND NOW WILL NOT BOOT UP.  IT SHOWS:

"Stop: c0000135 (unable ot locate componant) failed to start application because of basersg132)or (732) was not found.  reinstalling the application may fix this."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

    Joe

  • Based on your description, Joe, I believe that you scanned the PC using the free Windows Live OneCare Online Safety scanner from here: http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htm

This forum is for the full install of Windows Live OneCare - http://onecare.live.com - which does not present you with a list of concerns, it simply scans and removes or quarantines threats and provides ongoing protection.

The forum for the Online free scanner is here:

    http://boards.live.com/safetyboards/board.aspx?BoardID=225

There is no technical support for the Safety Scanner:

"Please note that the safety scanner is a free service, and we're unable to offer additional technical support. You can also tap into a community of savvy users for tips, advice, and answers to common questions in our Community page."
