Live Mesh Internet Connection Not Being Detected on a Mac? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have snow leopard installed and after doing so, Live Mesh stopped working. I downloaded the most recent version from here (https://connect.microsoft.com/content/content.aspx?SiteID=425&ContentID=10009) and after copying it over, it still gave me the warning to:

"quit live mesh, make sure i'm connected to the internet and restart live mesh"

I'm definitely connected - that's how I'm writing this post right now. Is there some old setting I need to erase?

  • Live Mesh beta will cease to function on the 31st of March, 2011. You should look at Windows Live Mesh 2011 - http://download.live.com

If you need to use Live Mesh beta until it stops working, the download is available after signing in at www.mesh.com

For your issue, you might need to try what's in this thread for OSX 10.6 - http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en/LiveMesh/thread/219507bf-9a8a-47b7-bef1-f80f17c7c49f

  • Sorry, I meant to say I downloaded the latest version. Wrong link there. I just redownloaded again, and same problem - "Please make sure you're connected to the Internet".

Latest version being Windows Live Mesh 2011? If so:

For discussion of the new Windows Live Mesh (formerly Sync), (as well as the released Live Sync version) go here:
