Safe Mode via Remote Desktop RRS feed

    Is there a way to reboot my WHS into safe mode via Remote Desktop. It I can, will I be able to reconnect via Remote Desktop or will that service be disabled?
    I need to be in safe mode to uninstall Avast on my headless server.

    No, you can't. You have to enter keystrokes and make a choice before you enter safe mode, and that happens before your computer's network interface has been initialized.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)

    You will need to contact Avast and have them provide you with another method for uninstall.
