Removing Case Form from Managed Solution RRS feed

  • Hi Everyone,

    Basically, I've installed a managed solution which contained a Case form that I didnt want it to. I've tried reinstalling the solution without the form, but it still remains in our Live System.

    Is there a way to remove this form without removing the entire solution?

  • You would need to uninstall the managed solution to get rid of the form.

    What you can "try" is uninstall the solution, open up the customizations in the zip file and delete the form that you do not want. Zip it back again and try importing. I haven't done this before, but theoretically it should work.

  • Hi,

    I believe you have a custom form in the managed solution. If that is the case you need to uninstall the managed solution, i.e delete the managed solution from the list.

    This should revert the changes you have done so far. Create a new managed solution without the form and you should be fine to import this.

  • If you are unable to uninstall the solution (because of data or something) then you might be able to import the managed solution again with the form Disabled.
