I arn into an error indicating that I should reinstall One Care. I did many times but it still will not start and gives me the same error. Before installing I uninstalled using the control panel. I would like to be able to talk to a support staff and get this problem corrected. How do I get a hold of a warm live body?Friday, January 25, 2008 10:28 PM

Hi Ray
I would start here http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2421771&SiteID=2 and it should lead to a live person. When you uninstalled OneCare di you use the clean-up tool before reinstalling found here http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=828910&SiteID=2 then reinstall.

Each Country has their own support so you will need to go to the microsoft support website and locate your country. There is a cleanup tool available
http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/c/b/4cb845e7-1076-437b-852a-7842a8ab13c8/OneCareCleanUp.exe
so maybe try this first.

If the reinstall does not resolve it after you've used the cleanup tool, see if this post helps - http://forums.microsoft.com/WindowsOneCare/ShowPost.aspx?PostID=2523777&SiteID=2
Without knowing the error and why you believe that a reinstall is in order, that's the best we can do. Or, follow the instructions in the FAQ for how to reach support (link posted by Chuck). If you are a subscriber, you will have other options besides email support.
