  • I am having a very similar issue trying to get my LC Cinema to work. Im running an older sytem -DELL Intell Pentium 4 HT Inside, plenty of disk space, Windows XP with service pak 3 and IE 8.

After going through choosing my cam's model number, which languange I want, ect. I click on the LifeCam 3.0 32-bit for Windows XP SP2 or higher (excluding 64-bit) link and im told "Internet Explorer cannot display the web page." When I try to install the software from the disk, I get the follwing error message: "Setup cannot continue because you are not connected to the internet or the server is unavailable. Connect to the Internet and then run Setup again. During the setup process, accept any related security or firewall messages. If this is unsuccessful, please try again later."

I have been retrying for about a month now and no luck. The same is also hapenning with my LifeChat ZX-6000 wireless headset. The cam works fine if I just plug it in and use explorer to see its feed but it obviously doesnt have its own software installed.
