Getting to Support.

Question
-
When I have tried to get into support, I get to https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?&gprid=14501&&st=1&wfxredirect=1&sd=gn and I get https://support.microsoft.com/oas/default.aspx?&iid=707&iguid=16811dce-e99b-4d8c-a716-4081590e5c6e_1_2&sd=gn&f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396&c=SMC&ln=en-us&st=1&wfxredirect=1 for a present. I enter the number manually and same result.
I foynd http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/genuinewindows7/thread/952670eb-87db-4696-abc3-d125316dabf3, ran the SFC /SCANNOW command and all is legitimate.
I ran the mgadiag.exe and copied all the reports if there were a place to attatch them.
If by Microsoft's own diagnostic tools, why is the PID they issued me not recognized? Nay help would bappreciated.
Thank you.

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
MS do not issue PIDs - they are created at the time the system is installed.

You are using the product ID correct. That is a 20 character sequence not the 25 character product key. In your case 00371-177-0571404-85389 (from your report.)
