cpu fan control RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
I'm running Windows Server 2008 and I would like to reduce the speed of the CPU fan, which makes too much noise. I'm able to do so in Linux, so my motherboard has the right sensors.
I've tried a program called speedfan but although it sees the sensors and reports correct speed and temperature, changing the fan speed with this software has no effects at all.

Do you know of a good software to do that ?
    Thanks
    Sam
