Hi,
doing business intelligence on the Microsoft stack is a huge field. The next step depends on the field you would like to work. Generally said you have the choice between Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS), and Reporting Services (SSRS)
- There are other technologies which can further improve the business intelligence experience like SharePoint and Excel. They are all working together, but every single one needs some special knowledge. A good general starting point is to have a good knowledge
of SQL and SQL Server (which I think you have, because of your current work).
Could you give an insight where do you want to start? Do you want to start with transferring and transforming data from one place to another (SSIS), or building cubes for analysis or data mining (SSAS), or building reports for an end user (SSRS)?
