  • Question

  • I got my XPPro system some time ago (3 years) from who is now my ex-employer as part of my employment package and all was good until recently. I need a fix that I can actually accomplish relatively easily and would prefer to not read through 8000 threads on this subject.  Although Microsoft is eagar to tell me with a popup box what is wrong they can never seem to provide a popup box with easy information to fix anything.

So i'm asking, short of purchasing Microsoft 7, (which I do not want to do, given the Vista fiasco) what is a practical solution to this "your computer is not genuine and will self destruction in X days message??

    Thank you
