Mouse problem with Excel 2010 returns to page closer

  Hi there,

  I've got a Sony Vaio Tablet/PC with Windows 8 and Office 2010 which has recently developed a problem with the mouse.

  When you try use the mouse it will randomly take the mouse to the x at the top right of the screen to close down the excel. When you first open an excel sheet it works well for a few minutes then this occurs every 3 or so seconds of use.

  Only happens with Excel and not Word etc.

  It's not a problem with the actual mouse since this happens with any mouse you use including the on board mouse.

  The computer was rebooted at the shop once when the machine jammed. Might be a factor??

  Appreciate any advice
