I had a copy of Office 2003 that failed validation and I bought Office 2007 online (small business version). When I run the downloaded program it says it cannot complete the task becaus it needs Office 2007 and requests Disc 1 be inserted. Am i missing something or am I right in assuming an online purchase comes without discs. A great state of affairs as I have parted with nearly $500 and have nothing in return. Any suggestions? I have tried uninstalling the Office 2003 but had to reinstall it to do work as the 2007 still would not unzip from the file that was downoaded.
Sounds like a simple case of the file downloaded being corrupted during the download process.
Try downloading again.
