Not able to connect to SFTP with HTTP Proxy RRS feed

  • Hi all,

    I am  not able to connect to SFTP Server with HTTP Proxy (using Rensci.SSHnet).

    using the following piece of code 

    ConnectionInfo infoConnection = new ConnectionInfo(host, port, username, ProxyTypes.Http, proxy_host, 8080, proxy_username, proxy_password, new PasswordAuthenticationMethod(username, password));    
    try  {  
    SftpClient client = new SftpClient(infoConnection);  
    client.Connect();

    Getting the following error.

    {"Socket read operation has timed out"}

    could you please help on this issue.

    Your code doesn't have any special errors. If your issue still exists. You should try the following suggestions.

    1: You may need to make sure the SFTP Server can be visited correctly.(For example: ) Host, port, protocol logon type, user and password have been checked and work from another computer. ) and turned off windows firewall and antivirus.

    2: Go to the SSH.NET support center for getting suitable help.

    It is able to connect Winscp.(can write , read  file)

    But not with the code .

    Any suggestions please.
