  • Hi Lovely

Its pretty much easy to create an indicator, Steps would be

Goto Server Settings >> Enterprise Custom Field >> Create a Custom field  >> New Field >> project level field for Project Centre >> In the custom attribute >> choose Formula (though for diplaying indicator can be based on text / number / cost field, but typically most of the time we use it with formula)  >> Create a Formula such as

    Switch(Len(CStr([Baseline Finish])) < 3, "No baseline",
    ([Cost] + 1) / ([Baseline Cost] + 1) > 1.2, "Overbudget by 20% or more",
    ([Cost] + 1) / ([Baseline Cost] + 1) > 1, "Overbudget",
    True, "Under budget")

Now Scroll below to "Values to Display Section" Select Graphical indicators >> put your criteria such as "Equals", Values field should contain the actual value i.e. output of formula,   "No Baseline" (text should be exactly the same as it would be in your formula output)

In the image column clicking would pull a dropdown, just select the image you would like to display for corresponding value, repeat the test, value for each output you anticipate as  a result of formula, save it once done

Now include this custom field in any of your relevant views, and you are good to go

Note ::  after creating the formula custom field, do remeber to recalculate your project by opening in MSP and save followed by a publish :)
