Conditional Responses in a Dialog / Workflow / Process? RRS feed

  • I have a customer that wants to run a Dialog after the creation of an Opportunity.  In the Dialog, he essentially asks the user, "Do you want CRM to create a Follow-Up Activity on this Opportunity?"  If the user selects "YES", CRM will create an Appointment.  If the user selects "NO", CRM will end the Dialog.

    I can see, using Workflow, how to create the Appointment - but I do not see directly how to add the conditional logic on the result of the Dialog Input.

    Any direction/help would be appreciated.

    What you are saying is possible to do in a Dialog.

    Create a Dialog

    Add a Stage

    Add a Page withing the Stage

    Add a Prompt / Response withing the page - and name this as "CreateActivity"

    Add your question and choose radio button for the question within the Prompt / Response - 0=yes, 1=no

    Add another stage

    Add a condition under the second stage

    Check if the Local Values > CreateActivity > response value > Equals > 0

    Create Record

    Choose Appointment and Set Properties

    Activate your Dialog
