Publishing Error when inserting Images

Question
-
I am getting an error using Live Writer. I used it earlier today with no issues, now suddenly its giving me this error:
Error occurred while transferring file gticon[3].gif
(Publishing Error) A publishing error occurred: 200 TYPE is now 8-bit binary
227 Entering Passive Mode (67,18,18,90,153,68)
553-Can't open that file: No such file or directory
553 Rename/move failure: No such file or directory
It worked a few hours ago. My FTP settings for the image upload are all correct. I do not use Blogger, I use Nucleus, but as I said it worked fine before. It publishes if I don't add an image, if I add an image it gives me the error mentioned above. Please help.Tuesday, July 1, 2008 6:28 AM

I figured out the problem. I had 2 sets of ... in my title, I do that alot. It was causing the problem. I opened Live Writer to try another test post, (I had been trying with the same post over and over and it was failing), today I tried a new post just to see if it was working again, hoping it was, and it did. So I tried to publish the draft of the one that didnt work, and again it did not work. So then I thought about it, I remembered the dots... I took the dots out and it worked. So for some reason it dont like ...

Does it work for non gif files? Can you save the file as another format like a jpg and try to upload it?Tuesday, July 1, 2008 10:23 PM

Hello, thank you for the reply. It does not work for gif, jpg, or any image. Each try I do as well, it adds [#] to the image name.Wednesday, July 2, 2008 2:11 AM

I tried changing the folder permission to 777 but still did not work. It just went from working to not working suddenly. I really liked Live Writer, and I hope to get it working again.Wednesday, July 2, 2008 2:55 AM

I asked my host for some help on this as well, this is what they sent back. Seems like nucleus is adding or not adding, not sure how it works extra dots. I am removing some personal details for posting, for safety.
Here's the FTP logs from your failed uploads:
Jul 1 22:18:24 IP STUFF REMOVED LOGINNAMEREMOVED is now logged in
Jul 1 22:18:24 IP STUFF REMOVED LOGINNAMEIPINFO Can't change directory to /public_html/nw/images/Dude...ifthiseverhappens.Isoowantone _14277: No such file or directory
Jul 1 22:18:24 IP STUFF REMOVED LOGINNAMEIPINFO [ERROR] Can't open that file: No such file or directory
Jul 1 22:18:24 IP STUFF REMOVED LOGINNAMEIPINFO [ERROR] Rename/move failure: No such file or directory
Jul 1 22:18:25 IP STUFF REMOVED LOGINNAMEIPINFO [INFO] Logout.
There does not appear to be a directory by that name.
There is not a
Dude...ifthiseverhappens.Isoowantone_14277
but there is a
Dude...ifthiseverhappens...Isoowantone_14277
It appears you're missing a couple of dots:
1. Dude...ifthiseverhappens.Isoowantone_14277
2. Dude...ifthiseverhappens...Isoowantone_14277
So why would Live writer either add dots where there should'nt be or not add them where they should be, something with the dots is going on.
Any help is appreciated thank you.
