  • Yamapi,

Rerun the activation wizard (Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Activate Windows) and choose to activate by telephone.

The wizard will display phone numbers that are specific to your locality or region.  If your locality supports the use of toll-free phone numbers, the numbers displayed will be toll-free numbers.

Once you dial in and connect, the automated system will try to activate your computer by having you enter several groups of numbers into the wizard.

If there is a problem and the activation fails, you will be given an option to speak with a live activation representative.

Please let us know if that solved your problem!

  • Hi again and thanks for the quick answer ;)

I already tried the activation by phone twice but they told me my CD-key was being used on more than a computer which can't be possible since I never used this key on another computer. Got an idea ?

    Thanks again, bye ;)

  • Yamapi,

Did you speak with a live activation rep?

  • No, since I'm living in France. Do you know if there is anything like this in France ?

    Thanks again ;)
