Installed FOffice 2007 trial, now Frontpage 2003 shows not genuine RRS feed

  • Question

  •  I installed trial of Office 2007, and now my frontpage 2003 shows as not genuine, and blocked by microsoft.

I have been running Office Pro 2003 and Frontpage 2003 and had no problem before with validation.
My frontpage is a retail 2000, with a downloaded 2003 upgrade in May 2006 from mdofpc.com who is still in business on the web and doesn't seem to have any problems. Must be a validation mistake.

I read  a few posts and downloaded the mdiag program. Please help. I was trying to download the pdf addin for outlook when this happened.

    Here's my report.

    Hi.

I got a new key from them and they said they opened a ticket with MS on this to verify the license they had on this.

I'm supposed to uninstall and re-install to enter the new key.

Is there a way to un-register Frontpage so I can put in the new key and not have to uninstall/re-install first?

Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.

    Unfortunately, no.

  • Your installed copy ofMicrosoft Office FrontPage 2003 is indeed non-genuine.  It is a "Volume License" version whose product key was reported stolen.  Contact the seller of the illegal program and ask them why you did not receive a "genuine" version of Microsoft Office and demand a full refund.

  • Can I get that from a Microsoft employee before I accuse the company of selling illegal software. I bought it last May and have had it validated before. And this problem just happened after installing the Office trial version.

I want to be sure be sure before I contact them.

    Thank you.

  • All you need to do is print your MGA log and circle "Office Status: 114 Blocked VLK 2" and "<LegitResult>114</LegitResult><Name>Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003".
